Mst. Afroja Begum aged 33 years old lives with her husband at Bairagi para of Balakandi village in Omor Majid Union. They have only one daughter Studying in class one. Afroja Begum lost her left eye in an accident when she was working as a day laborer. Her husband ran a small shop but he had to spend all his capital on his wife's treatment. Now they do not own any productive resources and the shop is closed due to lack of capital. Afroja needs BDT 10,000 to revive their livelihood options.

Mst. Golapi Begum is a house wife lives with her husband name Md. Golzar Hossain lives at Purbo Patak para of Chakir Pashar Patok village in Chakir Pashar union. She has no cultivable land. Her husband was a seasonal day labour and also involve in small business. He would like to increase his small business for that reasons appeal BDT 10,000.

Mst. Nuri Khatun, a 21-year-old housewife, resides in Mukter Para of Balakandi village in Omar Majid union, located in Rajarhat Upzila. She lives with her husband, Md. Saydul Islam, who is 26 years old. She has a seven-year-old son named Md. Nahid Hasan is currently studying in first grade. She lacks a specific source of income and is unable to guarantee three meals a day. She constantly battles for food and other essential daily needs. She is interested in introducing a small business and has requested financing of BDT 10,000 for this purpose.

Mst. Nayan Tara (25 years old) is a housewife lives with her husband Md. Rana (32) at Muktar para of Balakandi village in Omar Majid union. Her husband is a day laborer. Her only one son Md. Nazmul Hasan studied in class seven but was involved in child labor due to poverty. She is thoughtful of future uncertainty. She hopes to develop the economic condition through goat rearing. She appealed BDT 8000 which can help her start goat rearing as an income source.

Mst. Nur Nahar (24) lives with her husband Md. Minazur Rahman (30) at Omar Majid union in Rajarhat upazila, Kurigram district. She has one daughter and one son. They don’t have any cultivable land, even leased land for cultivation. During the lean period, Nur Nahar had to work alongside her husband and also offer door-to-door domestic service in order to make ends meet. But despite Nur Nahar's best efforts, her hard work was not enough to fulfill family needs. Now, they are looking for income-generating activities (IGA) support to increase income that’s why they need approximately BDT 8000 for goat rearing.

If anyone gives me small support to establish income generating activities (IGA) it will help to change my life’’ said Mst. Nazma Begum 47-year-old married woman, her husband’s name is Md. Nur Islam an extreme poor man lives with her three children under Muktrpara, Balakandi village at Omar Majid union at Rajarhat upazila in Kurigram district. Lack of education and poor access to income-generating activities make them more vulnerable. It was manageable when it was just the two of them but even since they welcomed their three children into the world, the family expenses had increased day after day. They had to resort to eating one to two meals per day to tackle the situation. In this situation, she has been planning to engage in income-generating activities to support her family for bring a better life. She wants to engage with goat gearing, and for this purpose needs approximately BDT 10000.
