Mst. Minara Begum, 26 years old is a house wife lives with her husband name Md. Salim Mia (30) at Mukter para of Balakandi village in Omar Majid union under Rajarhat upzila. She has got marriage early age due to her father’s economic illness and lack of knowledge about effect of child marriage. She has two son named Md. Marzanul Islam (8) study class-i and Md. Muntasir Islam Muyaz (04). Her husband is a day laborer but he has to go outside his district as there are not enough job opportunities in the local area. He is not able to fulfill his family basic needs due to lack of regular income source. That’s why besides on her husband Minara Begum would like to introduce goat as income generating activates. So she appealed BDT 10000 for this purpose.

Mst. Morzina Begum, a 60-year-old resident, lives in Mukter Para, a part of Balakandi village located in the Rajarhat upazila. Due to a family economic crisis, she married at a young age. Two of her sons got married and now reside in separate households. Her husband is unable to work due to his declining health. Morzina is facing difficulties in providing for herself and her husband. Minara Begum requires support to initiate goat rearing as a means of generating income. She requested a sum of BDT 10,000 for this specific purpose.

Mst. Afruza Begum, 38 years old is a house wife lives with her husband Md. Anisur Rahmen (45) at Mukter para of Balakandi village in Omarm Mjid union under Rajarhat upzila. At the age of 15 years she got married cause poor economic condition and lack of awareness of her father. She has two daughter and one Son. Her husband is a day labour, but lack of work round the year they could not manage their family expenditure. Lack of financial capacity they could not carry on theirs child education. She hopes for the future to develop family economical condition by involving income generating activates. So she need BDT 9000 to introduce goat rearing. She said that if any one support him she will be grateful to them.

Morjina Begum (46) lives with her mentally challenged husband Md. Nur Nabi Sarkar (55) at Muktar para in Balakandi village of Omar Majid Union of Rajarhat upazila. She has only one kid, Md. Mominul Islam (25) resides in his father-in-law's house and cannot support his parents as he has no income. Morzina is in an unpleasant financial situation. She wants to improve her family's financial situation by integrating goat rearing. She requested BDT 8000 for her future economic solvency.

Mst. Rahima Akter from Balakandi, a village of Omar Majid union at Rajarhat upazilla in Kurigram district. She is a person of 26 years old. Her husband Md. Rabiul Islam is chronically ill that’s why he could not perform as a day labor. She lives in a small house and condition is very poor with bamboo fencing. She always fighting with poverty as income of the family is very low and cannot meet three meals a daily. She has no any specific income source. She completely depends on helps by other. She wants two goats for rearing so that she can make a good profit and it needs approximately BDT 9000.

If anyone gives me small support to establish income generating activities (IGA) it will help to change my life’’ said Mst. Nazma Begum 47-year-old married woman, her husband’s name is Md. Nur Islam an extreme poor man lives with her three children under Muktrpara, Balakandi village at Omar Majid union at Rajarhat upazila in Kurigram district. Lack of education and poor access to income-generating activities make them more vulnerable. It was manageable when it was just the two of them but even since they welcomed their three children into the world, the family expenses had increased day after day. They had to resort to eating one to two meals per day to tackle the situation. In this situation, she has been planning to engage in income-generating activities to support her family for bring a better life. She wants to engage with goat gearing, and for this purpose needs approximately BDT 10000.

During the lean period, Nur Nahar had to work alongside her husband and also offer door-to-door domestic service in order to make ends meet. But despite Nur Nahar's best efforts, her hard work was not enough to fulfill family needs. Now, they are looking for income-generating activities (IGA) support to increase income that’s why they need approximately BDT 8000 for goat rearing.
